Ergalfadi - The Cloak of Death

A report by NB-0218. After the download of information from the entity Kimmasi, Observer BL-2004 began to audibly narrate many of the entries they were given. In an attempt to maintain the nature of the information in the format it was received we will do something a bit dramatic. So, I, NB-0218, present:

THE DATABASE OF KIMMASI

As transcribed into aural narrative by BL-2004 and recorded by NB-0218.

For a long while the creatures of JUNO were immortal. Death was only present through predation and accidental injury. Akkakuh had never accounted for it when first creating the world and life continued to flourish and flourish until the world was near to bursting with life. It became a time of horror full of wars over scarce resources. Akkakuh and Unzulaja put aside their rivalry to come to a solution about what to do, but it was Onukuh who suggested the idea of an opposite to Akkakuh’s life giving perspective.

And thus, the Sun and Night pooled their powers to create Ergalfadi. When he first exerted his power on the world, he appeared as a yellowish-green mist that swept the planet and destroyed billions. War ended overnight as the world was decimated. The creatures of JUNO had no understanding of the balance being created and simply saw it as an incredibly fierce genocide.

Over time his form came to resemble a Kuhfadi but with it’s Kuh membranes formed around it’s head and body as if in a great hooded cloak. In one hand they hold a sickle that drips with golden blood.

Ergalfadi demanded that the price of his work be his possession of the life forces he took. Along their cloaked membrane jangle many silver bells, a bell for every life he has taken. He saw them as trophies. Akkakuh objected but was overruled by all the other gods. This decision opened a rift between Akkakuh and Onukuh, but was the beginning of a strong friendship between Ergalfadi and the god of life.
